OMH! They just GAVE,GAVE,GAVE! Phoenix was much more receptive this 2nd time around! Good job everyone! Does anyone know if tonight sold out? I swear Jim could have urinated on everyone in the front row and it would have been a BLESSING! Seriously, I thought it was THAT GOOD!

I bet they would get pissed if Jim took a pea on them.  Im just throwing that out there.

Glad to hear the boys rocked out in the desert!

SunDevil

Ohh yes, they rocked the place.  Highlights were definitely One Big Holiday and Wordless Chorus, IMO.  Actually, on second thought, every song was incredible.

Good crowd as well.  Everyone seemed real into it - random people kept giving my high fives.  One guy I didn't know just turned to me and said "This is absolutely incredible, isn't it?" with a look of disbelief on his face.

I have to ask though - what the hell kind of boots was Jim James wearing?  They looked like huge moon-boots with zebra stripes.  I thought it was a little humorous...

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

that was the best show I've ever seen, even though there were some fat drunk dudes makin out right in front of me.  i really liked how they started with One Big Holiday, it really got everyone's attention and made people listen to the entire show ,rather than having people leave half way through.

i was crackin up when Jim was saying how those two bridges down there are the most simple bridges he's ever seen, lmao

Sherpa

This was my buddy's first mmj show and he emailed me telling me how unbelievable it was. It just amazes me how these guys just never seem to let anyone down. I cant count how many times ive read people saying that mmj was the best gig theyve ever seen. Dear God, thank you for giving me mmj..... I dont know what id do without them... haha

I thought he did pee on the Boston crowd ;)

sooooo great to get cobra! highlight of the night for me. disappointed with the encore (dropping I Will Sing..). but still, this was VASTLY superior to the last AZ show.

SunDevil

This was my second show...the first time I saw them it was last year and I had only heard "Z".  A friend and I just went because we had nothing else to do that night and were absolutely blown away.

Heading into this show now that I know their entire catalog if figured it would be good but not as much as a shock as it was the first time.  Wrong.  I was blown away once again.  They are SO GOOD LIVE.  Best live band I've ever seen.

Hopefully they play Coachella.  I'm planning on making the trip either way from PHX.

I am in complete agreement - that was the best live musical performance I've seen in my 25 years on this green Earth.  I was with some folks who weren't familiar with Tennesse Fire and I felt they missed out a bit.  I mean - are you kidding me? - ending the main g straight acousticset by going Dondate, Run Thru,They Ran???  Unbelievable speechless bliss.  The sound was top-notch.  MMJ and the crew are true professionals honing their craft to perfection.  Unparalled by anything else out there IMO.  The Sax coming out for Nashville/KY during the encore, the vocal performance of Mr James through it all, acoustic on Golden & Bermuda, the unexpected Cobra showing with the funk???  I would have never believed this show unless I saw it.

"Such simple bridges.  And the beautiful......beautiful.....beautiful......."

Fantastic

Just a beautiful concert, once MMJ gets even more popular I'm sure people will be talking about them like this after every show, everywhere.
