Hi Y'all This is my first post,been lurking for over a year now.Had to see if there's any Jacket heads going to the show at the Marquee. We were there last year, with the small crowd was surprised they would come back to Phoenix.Not that i'm complaining We will be driving up from Tucson.Will be wearing my Z tee and White Sox hat.Hope to see you there. Either way they better play "I Think I'm Going to Hell" because that is what the sprawl of Phoenix represents. It would also pay homage to the late Hunter S if they played it. I'll be there, can't wait

I too ventured up from Tucson for the Tempe show in Nov 05. Lackluster crowd there was small part of reason we decided to make long journey to SF this year. In hotel now prep-ing for show# 1 in a couple hours. Gotta pace ourselves to make sure we're able to fully absorb the 3-night stand. Return fom SF to Tucson Tues; may try for Wed drive-up to Tempe if recuperated enough.

Must lobby to get MMJ to consider Tucson over Phx next time. A sell-out at the Rialto could be a reality and would be pretty special.

Yea, I too felt the crowd in Phoenix last year was not as into it as they could have been. I'm wearing my, 'Big Lebowski' tshirt and will b FULLY into the show regardless if the people around me think I'm a lunatic. MMJ RAWK! 'It Still Moves' is a MASTERPIECE! HEE HAW!

Ya I went to the show last november and decided that it would be worthwhile to venture out to Bonnaroo and see their 3 hr set.

Unfortunately, Im in Hong Kong during their appearance at Marquee but I have converted a number of friends to MMJ and they will be attending in my place. It was my goal after last year to give MMJ a better crowd the next time they came to PHX.

MMJ in PHX!
I caught My Morning Jacket in Phoenix (Tempe, actually) Wednesday night on their Okonokos tour.

They played at the Marquee club, which holds approximately 800 people. Just about the right size to see a band.

Having never seen MMJ, I wasn't sure what to expect. The reviews have been overwhelmingly postiive, and the boots I've listened to have been great. Knowing this however, I was not prepared for the show. .....
