hi kids, for reasons beyond my control i am NOT going to make the show in seattle tonight (argh.)  however, i will GIVE my ticket to someone who would like to go.

it's in the second balcony, but it's FREE!

it's a ticketmaster-email ticket, so i can send it to you.  PM me.

in other news:  the tickets i bought for the portland show via craigslist, which i requested to have fed-ex-ed to me, were put in the US Mail.  Saturday.  so.  i may be heading to portland, for a sold out show without my show tickets.   :-/ sigh.  just had to vent that to sympathetic ears/eyes.

i must add that the woman-in-the-know at the local post office has been RAD in taking time to help me track this package down.  LINDA, YOU RULE!   [smiley=beer.gif]

how things go:

FOUND A HOME FOR THE TICKET!  WOO!

answered an ad on craigslist for tickets wanted.  the guy on the other end had found tix already, but i told him i had an email ticket for free if he knew someone who wanted to go.  he said, "hold on...(away from phone) hey dude, want to see the show tonight?"

while we were working out the email hoo-hah, waiting for the ticket to download, etc.  we talked about the NYE show.  and the recent set lists.  added bonus!

i am now listening to okonokos.   [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]

i have been the beneficiary of some terrific concert going luck in my time at the hands of generous people.  just want to put a little back into the pool   ;)

and SO happy to have the ticket put to use.  dead, unused tickets kill me.

Agree!  I purchased 2 fifth row tickets for Jim's acoustic show in October and bought them for LA not in San Francisco where I live.
Sold them for half price (2 for 1) and also glad to give to someone to hear the wonderful music.  I did get my own ticket the palace for a happy ending for all.

Pay it forward.

This is one of the most generous and thoughtful actions that I have seen any board member take! You are AWESOME!  :D
