Midwest Drought

What is it about the Midwest(Omaha) that keeps good bands like MMJ out?  Does anyone know if they play in KC?  I know they are done touring the states for awhile but I would really enjoy seeing them live the next time they make their rounds. ;D

Glad to see things haven't changed much in the 10 years since I moved from Omaha. St Louis is only 7 hours from Omaha and well worth the trip, especially for weekend shows. Kings of Leon are not hitting Omaha, but are hitting KC (at Harrah's Casino)and St Louis. Black Rebel Motorcycle is hitting Sokol. Things aren't all bad

The Decemberists are in KC April 21, I think they're good. Now about good bands coming to Oklahoma...
