2007 Langerado Music Festival

Looks like I have my campsite. Max occupancy is 4. Right now, it's just me.

Anyone have a schedule of the actual shows during the weekend?

No schedule yet, but they did release the "who's playing on which day" schedule last week.  I think the Jacket is Saturday...Michael Franti is also that day  :)  Saturday's already my favorite memory of the festival  :)

To those who've been to previous Langerados, how much ground does it cover??  I mean, how long of a walk from stage to another?

Last year, the two big stages were side by side  :)  We set up "camp" right between them at near the sound boards.  Going from stage to stage consisted of turn to the left, turn to the right.

The tent was the furthest away last year...maybe a five minute stroll.  On the way to the tent, there was a smaller stage...maybe 3 minutes from the big stages.  Caveat:  I have long legs and walk quickly, YMMV.  ;)

There's a bit of overlap this year at the big stages, so maybe the set up will be modified (more ground between the 2 stages) to minimize sound bleed.

do you know, nova or anyone else who has been before, are there showers there if you camp on the grounds? i can't find the answer to this on the langerado site. thanks!

Sorry, Colleen.  I stayed with friends last year, so I'm not sure what the shower situation was...

I'm not trying to start an argument but I like the Biscuits.  I wouldn't even think about seeing them instead of MMJ but I think Jon Gutwillig (sp) is a great great guitar player.  Very original.

It's now less than 2 weeks away.

I haven't been to a rock show of any kind since 1-13-07 for the Jacket in Denver.

My anticipation is reaching a certain pitch, if you know what I mean.

Baseball fans going to Langerado:

I just got this message from a NY music promoter.

"I'm also working with Major League Baseball, who's MLB Road Show will be down there....basically they send out pitching and batting cages and have this whole interactive baseball experience for fans.  Its soemthing they do at lots of festivals each summer.  Anyway, at Langerado they're going to be doing automatic upgrades for fans wearing Florida Marlins gear that swing by the road show...."

Is there swag for the bands being sold or is there just Langerado branded stuff?
