A Specific Song Request for Prom 08'

Given the setlist from this years prom shows, more specifically, the cover songs from this years's prom got me thinking.

I'm going to travel from Michigan to wherever they play these shows next year, and it may be that the guys in the band don't even like the song, but it's worth a try.

The other day I heard a song that I hadn't heard in at least 15 years and it struck me in two ways. 1st it really sounded like MMJ could do it well, and secondly it's one of those dreamy songs (lyrically) that would fit perfectly in the prom theme.

Anyway it's Ebony Eyes by Bob Welch....and it reminded me of the time I caught a sound check of the Jacket before their show at the Shelter in Detroit when they busted out "Love is kind of crazy with a spooky little girl like you"

Are you serious my friend when you say you saw the boys in the shelter of all places? Legendary downstairs dwelling on the even more legandary St. Andrews Hall????

I grew up in Detroit my whole life.......moved out here to Chicago in the summer of 2005.......I was never lucky enough to see my favorite band in the whole world live at either of those two places.....and probably will never either. I didn't know they were my favorite band back then..........they found me several years later.....

I'd love to hear a story or setlist from the shelter show......gave me chills just thinking about it.
