terrific shots!  love the shots from soundcheck.  really get the feel:  empty seats, test pattern on the screens...

and you caught the ovation!   [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]

What lovely photos! You can truly feel their warmth, can't you?  :)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

thanks very much for the kind words, everyone!

i think it's really the subjects, i'm just lucky to shoot them.

You have made my morning. Seriously. Made my morning.

That top picture of Neil looking at Pegi is perhaps the sweetest. thing. ever.

I took a black and white photography class in italy once and my teacher went on and on about "chiaroscuro", and the passion he imparted to us with that word doesn't translate well with the simple English definition, but those photos... chiaroscuro. Oh the texture and the light and dark.

Beautiful! Big thumbs up!!

Thanks so much for sharing.

LEATHER KID

Well those were some of the best pics I've seen in a long time.  Thank You :)
IT'S ALL FUCKIN' CHEESE!!

School benefit brings in the bigs

By Zach Ernst

My Morning Jacket

Two weeks before the concert, Bridge School regular Eddie Vedder dropped off the bill. He was replaced by Athens, Ga.'s My Morning Jacket, who rocked ACL fest in hula skirts last month. Even though the band was restricted from plugging in, they still rocked harder than anyone else on the bill.

MMJ is a peculiar band: half of their songs are incredible (like Z's "It Beats for You" and "Off the Record," both given the acoustic treatment here), but the rest are inexplicably boring. Some of their bland country rockers sounded even blander without any squealing Les Pauls.

so this guy is a totally idiot...not only b/c he criticizes the band but when did MMJ move to Athens, GA and claim it as their home city?!?  seriously, if you are gonna call yourself a journalist and write and criticize others art, then do your F*CKING research!

I go to UT, and this article does not surprise me at all.  The Daily Texan is the worst newspaper ever, they're always getting simple facts like MMJ being from Georgia wrong.  Sounds like a great show, wish I could have been there.

just heard Wonderful (the way I feel)...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
God damn those shaky knees.

Hi Guys -

I'm new here and new to the band but saw them at Bridge and was really impressed.  Want to know if someone could ID this song - I think they played it Saturday but could be wrong... can someone have a look at this youtube clip from Bridgeschooler and tell me the song title?  Thanks so much...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahh4gaiOGvc

they are third in after Regina and T&S - THANKS!
