My Morning Jacket in Barcelona?

Hi guys,

I've just seen that My Morning Jacket is playing a show in Barcelona next September the 22nd. Is that true? There is no reference to a show in BCN in this website, so I would appreciate any information about this. It happens that I am from Barcelona! Thanks. Marc.

They were in spain last september with Pearl Jam, so that may be the confusion, if there is any.  I haven't heard anything about this show and I find it hard to believe.  :-/

Last year they didn't come to Barcelona because here the opening band for Pearl Jam was Wolfmother. :(  

This September 22nd they've been announced to play on the BAM Festival, but they haven't been confirmed yet..........

okay.  i don't know anything about the sept. 22.  They came to Spain last September, I thought that that may have caused some confusion, even if it was Madrid and not Barcelona.

According to this, MMJ are set to perform at 2.10am after The Thrills, but are marked as "Actuació per confirmar" which leads me to believe it might not be confirmed.

Hmmm, if they are playing, I'm on holiday in France.  It's only a nine hour drive down to Barcelona from Angouleme.

EDIT: I've followed the link from the last.fm page, and (although my Catalan is limited) I  think it's only The Thrills and Love of Lesbian who are playing.  Although they do have MMJ on the heading?  Weird.

that would be SIIIIIICK.  the greatest band in the world playing in the greatest city in the world... MMJ in BCN!!!  I would love to see them at Palau de Musica (sp?).  The only reason i don't move to Barcelona right now is the lack of rock n roll there.  other than that, it's pretty much a perfect city.
