What do you think they'll open with?
What will the set be like?
What surprises do you wanna hear?

It'll be my first time seeing MMJ, and even though I'm rather confident it's a bit of a staple in their set, I want them to play Steam Engine more than anything else. So prepared for this pseudo-religious experience

I wonder if there's going to be some kind of theme.

are they're dressing up as the rockettes?

cool.

I've already introduce the idea of my foursome having our own interpretation of an "evening with" and doing it with some kind of yet to be thought of.... theme.

Ive got an EVIL plan babe

I've said this before.  The show will feature My Morning Jacket playing all of their major albums (in entirety) in reverse chronological order.
Just cause it starts off slow babe, doesn't mean I  don't have evil urges.

Meaning they open with Touch Me Part 2 and end with Heartbreakin Man?

Or do you mean in the way that it would begin with Evil Urges and end with I Think I'm Goin To Hell

I'm thinking maybe being NY, and "An Evening with", we might have a few special guests????  Just a thought, maybe not.

But I definately predict doses of nirvana, armageddon, and thrusting all rolled up into one giant speed ball.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

mmmm mickey's. love those squatty green bottles.

I like the old school idea.... and that's where I went to first... old school new york... but I was going all they way back to going as real knickerbockers (not the basketball team, but that  would be cool, too...).

Personally, I was thinking that Radio City may be worthy of my elbow length gloves....and perhaps a feather chapeau....how cool would it be if everyone dressed to the 9's?

I'll be fresh off the links wearing my yellow plus fours with over-the-calf argyle socks, shirt and bow tie with a cardigan sweater, and a fine cap. I suppose I'll remove my spikes if it's absolutely necessary.

I'd wager the opener will be that Evil Urges ditty, and I believe the odds would favor a sprightly rendition of The Steam Engine.

Scott Carney on theremin for a song. That would be sweet!

The last sentence there is pretty much 100 percent BH!

1.  I think I may call Domino's in a few minutes and order some wings and pizza (if you can call it that)

2.  I might make a t-shirt of this to wear to Radio City:

Whatever.  I'm just saying.
My jacket's gonna be cut slim and checked

AllyDee

I'm really hoping for "Picture of You"
