Voodoo Fest '08 ?

I'm hoping for them to play here.  this festival is the best for numerous reasons but i'll throw out 3 really good one's...
1.  Unlike Austin City Limits and Lolla, The best bands do not step on each other's toes.  Last year they(ACL) had the White Stripes playing @the same time as the Arcade Fire!  How do you pick between those 2 shows??
(I know WS cancelled, just using that instance to make a point)
Voodoo staggers the best bands so that the sound doesn't mess up other stages.  
2. Filler band at many festivals suck balls.  In New Orleans, the filler bands are comprised of stellar musicians from the area.  I can't get enough of the awesome roots music on the side stages.  I saw Lez Zeppelin, Ghostland Observatory, and 50 great session musicians last year and was excused from having seen Fall Out Boy!!!
3. Bourbon Street @ Halloween!!!  Nothin' like it!!!  Especially after 2 grams of shrooms and some Absinthe!!

I betcha Beck, The Black Keys, The Black Lips, MMJ, Catpower, The Roots, Clutch, and QOTSA will also be on the bill...  

Tickets went on sale today for a 3 day pass.

that's pretty impressive considering i just dropped 93$ to catch REM and Modest Mouse in Atlanta
