That was a fantastic scream!  This is making me sad that I can't make it NYC next week.

Smokin' From Shooting.

BH, have you heard the album yet?
The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place

BH

Yeah, when I got my listening party package, I have basically listened non-stop.   Couldn't help myself.  What shows can you make it to, any?

Looks like they are saving Remnants for the big apple.  (At least I'm telling myself that.)   Maybe Bonnaroo....
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

BH

OK, so maybe Smokin' from Shootin is my favorite. ;)

I can't believe I don't have working speakers....I'm crushed.....

How did Touch me Pt 1 sound?

It's looking like just the show in Detroit in October.  I'm hoping to somehow be able to make it to Louisville in August but I doubt I'll be able to afford the trip.  I had tickets to NYC but ended up not having money to make the drive out there.

Smokin' From Shootin is definitely my favorite right now.  We'll see if that changes once I actually get the album.

This show is a huge step up from the SXSW stream.

I missed it but I think BH was here for it.

I think they could stretch Touch Me Pt. 2 out for a really long time if they wanted to.

Actually, it was good but not great.  I think Jim's voice was maybe still warming up a bit.   I am starting to really love this song and I couldn't wait to hear what they would do with it live.  I was a bit dissapointed but listening on low volume on crappy speakers is not exaclty the best way to judge so let's wait and see shall we? :)

As long as you get to see "An Evening With" show, you will be good to go I think!

The sound quality is surprisingly good for an internet stream.  Granted I'm using some cheap home studio monitors to listen, but the low end is making my desk rumble.

I'd stick around for Kathleen if I was you.  I have to get home.....

And thank you!  It's a lot more fun listening with someone else.  Sounds like there may be a Kathleen Edwards performance on NPR later.

Safe travels.  Hopefully Kory will record Kathleen Edwards as well but hopefully I'll be on long enough to hear it.

I hope someone recorded the stream... my recording failed. I don't want to talk about it. I didn't even get to hear it.

Was a fantastic show!  These guys are really tight and complement each other so well and the rhythm section was killer.

I took a look at some of the previous posts and their were no canned vocals.

The last song featured Jim on the omnichord and was killer.  They ran out of the studio as the song ended, very funny!

QuoteI'm at work.  (Shhhh!)
hey guys!  i wasn't able to be on the forum, but i did get to listen to the stream!

i patched my laptop into the sound mixer and played the show through the studio monitors in the edit bay.  WOO!

i was HOPPING today (8pm, still at work), but got to hear the show!

loved jim's rap about "destroying the bear's identity" too. ;D

when my boss came in, i gave him the run down on all the stuff i was working on (deadline...oof), then told him i was listening to a simulcast of mmj.  he said, "i like what i'm hearing".  this is the same man who is giving me a day off to go to rcmh.   HOORAY!

I take it you were there.  C'mon, we need more of a review than that!
