RCMH show and the summer solstice

(My apologies if this has already been mentioned or discussed elsewhere.)

MMJ's show this Friday, June 20th has a start time of 8:00PM. The summer solstice this years begins this Friday, June 20th at 7:59PM.  So, in essence, the show will start at the very beginning of the summer solstice.  Coincidence?  This show was announced way back at the beginning of the year....was it's date selected for a specific reason?

It is, in fact. Winter solstice (Dec 21, also my birthday) is the shortest day of the year.

That's really cool to hear that someone who has been to that many shows is just as excited as I am to go upto NYC for this show. Can't wait to get on that train on Friday afternoon!

you have no idea....i get "that feeling" EVERY TIME......every show...no one besides jerry garcia has ever given me "that feeling" and i am grateful to have found it again!
