I had the most perfect timing... Yesterday at 3:00 exactly i walked my RCMH to make sure i knew where it was.... about  a half block away i noticed!!!!

:) THE WHOLE BAND STANDING ON TOP OF THE RCMH SIGN GETTING PHOTOS!!  :)

I ran over as fast as i could and Jim and the band waved as i made an ass out of my self yelling for them and then took a few phone photos.

The whole day just seemed that way for me, perfect timing.

Quotea lot of people complain that they play too much "new" stuff...but like i've said before, Z and EU are carl's and Bo's material.  They had nothing to do with TTF, AD & ISM.  This is the new chapter for MMJ and we should be lucky to be able to hear The bear, Burmudah Highway, The Way that he sings etc.  thats all....

Here here!

thats awesome about them on the rcmh sign!...pix?

Hey Dark. How did your dad take it?

Long time fan... new to the forum...  friends are getting tired of me obsessing over the glory of the jacket.  Figured I would be more welcomed  here.  Hope you all had a blast at the show sounds like it was fantastic.  I was wondering if glow sticks were being tossed about and if so a good bit or just a few.  I'm going to Louisville and am considering purchasing a good bit to get the energy flowing as well as some cool visual action.

o also.....jim was playing a nasty rickenbacker bass on two halves....cant believe that hasnt's been discussed here yet!!!

Honest Man

Quoteyeah, during The Bear/Phone Went West/The Way That He Sings/Bermuda Highway, I saw waaaaaaaaay less people who knew the words. Definitely seemed like a lot of people there are Z and Evil Urges fans only

Totally. I was psyched to hear phone went west , the bear and bermuda highway. For those who were at the Roseland Show last time they came into town, this was up there. Solid.
The fact that my hearts beating, is all the proof you need.

I wanna be a roadie this tour. I bet they can score some good drugs

QuoteCaleb Followill of Kings of Leon was sitting in the orchestra behind me and he was loving it. SO that was a plus. The crowd on the orchestra kicked ass compared to balcony. Phone went west was epic. :)
That's cool that Caleb was there. I remember some interview of their's that he and Nathan mention how much they love At Dawn. If I find it I will post it, it's pretty interesting.
How loud can silence get?

a lot of glow sticks were getting tossed, lots of them were hitting people all around me and I got hit in the head once. I thought it was lame but soon became enveloped in the music!
Oh I'll never say I knew you, but my heart can't wait to meet you on the other side

I thought people were encouraged to not criticize anything.
I disagree.
If you didn't like the songs, say so.  If you thought the show was predictable, say so.  You were there.   I'm glad to read your thoughts.
I may disagree, but one thing remains,  We LOVe The JAcket!!!!!!

The DARK

QuoteHey Dark. How did your dad take it?

Really enjoyed it. Off the Record and Gideon still his favorites, but he also really enjoyed Phone Went West, Bermuda Highway, and Evil Urges.
In another time, in another place, in another face

I saw her three times. On the way in, getting a beer, and on the way out.

I got her number .....

.... I called ... We went back to RCMH on Saturday night to see The Cure .....

.... But I decided she really wasn't pretty enough to see again ....
Thank you .... You've been a lovely audience ....I'll be here all week .... Try the veal!

I thought one of the three back up singers on Conan might have been Zoey, it kind of looked like her, but I didn't see anybody but the band at RCMH.  I was pretty drunk but not that drunk.  Of course, if she was far stage left, I may not have had her in my view.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.
