i will also be making the true "nashville to kentucky" real life experience...this time with my wife, who didnt' get to fly with me to NYC for the RCMH show.

what's crazy is that i ran into Carl the day after the RCMH show at Essex and was talkin to him about how sweet it was that Jacket was doing a true nashville to kentucky riverfront extravaganza.  he was kinda like, "what? i think they're a week apart"....

i guess those guys travel sooooo much and have so many places to be all the time, it's hard to really know or have a schedule.

it was still freakin surreal to run into him....i'll post pic as soon as my nikon loads them into this slow ass machine

I am also.  Just bought my Nashville tix this week.  Went to Bonnaroo.  Man I just can't get enough of the Jacket.  I only wish I had more friends that are interested in them like I am to go with the shows with me.

saw them at Bonnaroo and at Radio City Music Hall. cannot wait for NYE @ MSG. desperately searching for decent airfare for the TN/KY shows.

I have found that it is much cheaper to fly into Nashville than Louisville.

If you do fly into Louisville you should start a thread on here and try to find someone to hitch a ride with down to Nashville.  If that does not work out then look into possibly renting a car for one day.  The drive from Nashville to Louisville is so very easy.  Its only like 3 hours doing the speed limit.  I made it from Downtown Louisville to downtown Nashville in 2:15 on Monday.

If one were to stay sober after the Nashville show you could easily drive back to Louisville after then show.  Kentucky hotel taxes are cheaper than Tennessee Hotel tax.

I am just trying to help everyone make this run!  I really cant explain to you how HUGE this 2 night run is going to be.  This is there 2 hometowns!  I think if you ask any of the band members that question....they will tell you Nashville and Louisville are their favorite cities to play.

August 15 and 16 are going to be biggest days in this bands history....i truly believe this with all of my heart.   ;)
