Jim playing with the Leopard Percussionists. They band watched from just offstage throughout the set and it was obvious they enjoyed it, especially Patrick, who was giving the kids high fives every time they rotated off the stage.

Carls guitar rack

Pooch got a huge applause

Two Tone and Patrick. At times they were flat out devastating. During the encore there were a few times I thought the knocked the wind out of me.

The first of many caped numbers

This one will soon be framed along with the pick I got

Favorite pic from the show...

Exactly how amazing was Dondante?

"Look at you...you..."

Another of my favorites

And another...

I cant begin to explain the mass hysteria that was this song. A heaving, singing, screaming, jumping, dancing, euphoric mass of humanity. Downright cathartic.

On the way home, 6 AM this morning, after not sleeping at all. Have you ever watched the sun rise at 32,000 feet? Stunning...
Say friend, you got any more of that good sasparilla?

j rud--your pix have me downright swoony!  that you took them from before the sun went down right thru to it coming up again is fantastic.

your comments are spot on, too!

Thanks for the words and pics.Sadly my little disposable Kodak digital only takes decent pics if you're actually standing on the stage directly in front of the band. ::)
But I do have several fantastic images forever emblazened into my brain and dna.
The most memorable memory was the humility and grace falling off of that stage and onto us.Their egos are non existent and their appreciation for the fans is ever present. They are indeed the greatest of the great rock gods but more importantly they are men actually worthy of the face melting screams of 10,000.More often than not talent and humility can't co-exist but MMJ proves when they do both become super human entities.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers, and me.

Amazing pictures, thank you so much.  I will put some of those in my computer's desktop.  Very well done, and you must have amazing cameras, I can't believe how perfect some of those turned out....
Seeing those photos makes me want to start dancing and freaking out again, god, I still can't sleep.  Jim James, let me go to sleep!
