So anyone planning on going to this gig? I've been refreshing ticketmaster.ie, pod.ie and the museums pages this past two days in vain hopes of seeing that magical "buy tickets" button. Alas, it has yet to appear anywhere.

I called the Museum they said contact Pod.ie - they said go to Ticketmaster.  ::)

Does anybody know what this place will be like as a venue?

I was there a few years back, nice art museum, easy to get to from downtown Dublin.  There is a large court yard, so I'm guessing that's where the show would be, or there is a large sculpture garden that would make a good setting for a show.

Still no info on where/who is selling tickets for this. I'm guessing it wont sell out in 10 minutes but I'd still like to get my hands on them ASAP. It's been too long since they visited here properly.

I'm ignoring Oxygen since 1) I couldnt go and 2) Festival show 30mins~ long? Doesn't do them justice.

tickets are on sale here:

it's actually some sort of festival, also with seasick steve.
will probably have more details later.

Thanks CC - That must have been added recently as I checked it this morning. The ticket price is quite unfortunate though - €44.95 I'm probably paying to see Steve get Seasick more than anything else. Oh well, they're well worth the admission! :D

I would SO be wearing a Halloween costume...
Say friend, you got any more of that good sasparilla?

manicminer

Got mah tickets! Wewt! Hope to see some more forum natives there. I'm kinda wary about it being a festival ... I hope it's a nice hour 1/2+ set.

Cool manicminer!!! I would love to go. My best friend lives in Dublin. I introduced him to MMJ last summer and he likes them a lot. He is planning on going to the show. If I could afford it I would be there in a heartbeat. I studied in Dublin for 5 months when I was in college. Great city! Are you Irish?
Wakin up feelin good and limber!
