I was just wondering if there are usually scalpers at Jacket shows. I've never seen them around but I know they have to be out there.

I'm trying to get to the Myrtle Beach show at the House of Blues, and it looks like anyone without a ticket at this point is gonna have to rely on a scalper or two.

Make sure to check all the online ticket brokers (there are easily a dozen at this point), as well as periodically checking back with ticketmaster. They often hold tickets and release them periodically leading up to the show. I just pulled a pair of 3rd row seats for the DC show after not getting anything but the tiered seating since they went on sale.
Say friend, you got any more of that good sasparilla?

Ugh.  So long as people buy from scalpers, scalpers will exist.  And people like me, who occasionally sell extra tickets at face value, will be treated with skepticism and suspicion.
God sure baked a lot of fruitcake, baby.

there were a few out last night in orlando.  i think 2 or 3 offered me tickets even though I already had them.  they weren't obnoxious scalpers like at football games, but they were scalping for sure.

...yeah one time I was selling an extra ticket outside of a R.E.M. show for face value and this person just didn't believe me and didn't buy it from me, I told the dude that he could walk in the place with me and he still didn't buy it....dumb ass, the seat was right next to me and I had a lot of really good weed, his loss.... ::)

ha, that's awesome. People don't believe other people when they're trying to be honest and fair.  That says a little something about how some people view others....
God damn those shaky knees.

Yeah, I hear ya. I typically miracle someone with an extra tix...unless it's gonna make the difference in getting to the next city or not.  ;)

But that is why you are one of the cool people and a good person for selling them for only face.f

There were a few outside the Fox.  Atlanta ticket scalping is legal.
