QuoteDarlin' I think you might be getting burnt out--but then again, I'm a HUGE fan of Part 2 and would have most likely peed myself had I seen them open with it.

Take a break--refresh yourself and get ready for the next one :)

Agreed!  I would have had bladder control issues if they opened with Part 2  :D

The show was excellent.  I will admit, that being a native miamian i was a little nervous about what type of crowd this show would draw.  So Fla is notorious for having a terrible taste in music and a lack of appreciation for really good bands that aren't in the MAINstream.  The venue was nice and small.  Probably held about 2100 i would guess.  It was a little more than 2/3 full from what I could see.

The sound and acoustics in the theater were really good, and Jim was really playing to those in the crowd that were there to have a good time.

I was second row from the stage in the pit and I must say that the boys put on an excellent show considering that half of the crowd barely knew any of the lyrics to the songs.  I remember during Phone, I was singing and looking around and no one else even knew what the heck the song was, and then I caught the eye of one other girl who was up front who was singing along and we both looked at each other, and I was thinking, "glad to know some else came here to rock"

The setlist was pretty sweet.  It was def nice to see some change ups in the songs and the order that they played them in.  I took a photo of the setlist before the show, and so I was able to follow along as the night progressed.  The only thing that bummed me out was that after Golden and before Run Thru, the list said STEAM ENGINE, and they didn't end up playing it, not sure why, but I would have really loved to have seen the concert.

I took a friend who had never seen them, never heard of them, and at the end of the show, he looked at me and said, "wow bro, now I know why you can't stop talking about them.  That was a rock and roll show!" so i think he liked it.

Overall it was a really good show.  The folks around me were really into the band and we were dancing and having a good time and I was really stoked to see my favorite band come to my city.

Looking forward to seeing everybody in NYC on NYE.  love.

Just getting back from Miami...I thought the show was good; the theatre was pretty nice, though the sound got a little muddled for me a few times.

We parked by the tour busses and got to come in through the back where there are 3 huge pictures of Jackie Gleason hanging on the walls.

Despite seeing the signs that pointed to the MMJ dressing room, I behaved myself and didn't bolt up the stairs.  Nor did I write my phone number in lipstick on the bus windows after the show, though the thought did cross my mind.

We were there a little early and I was surprised at how empty the theatre was.    I think the band got started around half past 8, while the crowd filled in.   This crowd certainly didn't have the electricity that the Radio City crowd brought, but I think it turned out OK.  ;)

I had a PIT bracelet but figured that it would be too crowded, so I hung at the rail of the orchestra section for Touch Me 2 and 1.  10 or 15 people piled into the PIT during those songs, but it was still really empty, so down I went.   :)

I stayed on Carl's side and had a blast.  Started out about row 7 of the pit, then 5, then 3 -- all the while with enough space to jump around and not touch a soul.  Of all the shows I'll be able to catch this tour, I doubt I'll have a better viewing/dancing area.

Hi-lights were watching the newbies with us enjoying show, Knot Comes Lose, and getting to watch Tom up close.  He is ridiculously good.   :o

Hometown show this week in DC, then maybe a run up to Philly.  Not a bad way to close out the summer.  :)

so this is the true order of the setlist??? because I had times coming to terms with this. If I would have been there I would have flipped out!!!!!! (if this is true... I am stoned and have been evacuating from NOLA for the past 3 days)
