Then Dondante deserves a couple of those bad boys, too.
Because if there's one thing that goes well with shooting zombies it's a Dolly Parton cover-el chode

Dondante was phenominal last night.  At one point this older guy next to my wife started yelling "This is just like Floyd used to do it!  Go, go, go!"  and then started jumping through the crowd.  Killer jam at the end.

It was great to get Cobra, but is seemed like they cut a few bars out of the rocking out portion.

Phone Went West was another highlight.  What a powerful song.

Kind of bummed there was no The Way That He Sings last night, but you have to save something for the next time in town.

Highly Suspicious is actually tollerable live.  I was surprised.

yah i feel highly suspicious can only b e tolerated live, after the show i kept saying Peanut butter pudding surprise!!!

I feel this badn is similar to the dead/ratdog/phil lesh where any song they choose to play from their collection will just be amazing.

I finally figured it out.   It's not that you have see it live to enjoy Highly Suspicous.  You have to be drinking/smoking/dancing/having a good time to enjoy it to it's fullest.   It's really not that different live.

Try this, next time you are out drinking (with a designated driver of course) put it on in the car on the way home and turn it up to eleven.  Then just try and tell me you don't like it!
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

highly suspicious is like an inside joke. its a funny song and i think the band wrote it with a sense of humor. either you get it or you don't.

The DARK

This is the same as the Myrtle Beach setlist, only with Cobra moved to the encore and What A Wonderful Man thrown in there.  :-/
In another time, in another place, in another face

I doubt Boston's set is gonna top this, but if we get The Bear I'll be so happy.   Lowdown and Honest Man would rock too.

Of course I'll be very happy with whatever they give us!

I think PWW was for me the best song of the night.  Karl was simply tearing it to bits at the end.  That it was the sort of introduction to the absolutely gloriously blistering end stretch of the main set.  Dondante and Mahgeetah also were just ridic.

something i found so impressive about my second MMJ show, (first one two rows from front) is how they engaged the audience.  i felt like all of them looked at the audience, i'm convinced that I locked eyes with every member at least once.  And seeing jim smile and look at everyone really just adds so much to the experience.  You can tell they are on cloud 9 seeing so many people loving their music.  absolutely beautiful

i've been thinking about how they connect with the audience so much after Philly that I had a dream last night that I met Carl and he invited me to attend a jazz concert with him.
Oh I'll never say I knew you, but my heart can't wait to meet you on the other side
