I've got a room at Hotel 17, so I'm just curious if anybody out there has been to this place before and can provide a little input. It got great reviews for the price, and is supposed to be pretty close to MSG.

Any other tips on travel in NYC is greatly appreciated!

...bring a lot of money, things are overly expensive...subways aren't as hard to figure out as you would think....and try to find a Nuts 4 Nuts stand (I recommend the mix bag for your first experience), I live for those whenever I go to the city (which is all the time)...

I've read & heard GR8 things about a place 2 dine called, 'The Spotted Pig' they say the hamburger RULES. It's the 1st place I'll check out the next time I'm in NYC.

Check out the Blue Oyster Bar on a Fri or Sat night.  Pretty swingin place!

there are much better places for burgers. even in the west village where the pig is. go to corner bistro, much better. and no celeb watchers.

just bring an extra liver, thats my only other recommendation. oh and get a dirty water dog with 'kraut and mustard. you haven't been to our city until you've had one. enjoy.
Is there a doctor in the house tonight?
