Myself and two good freinds wre very excited to go to the show last night, I was originally planning on going to Phoenix but luckily they added the Tucson show befor I bought my tickets. I can say I am a big fan, and have enjoyed all of the material I have heard.  I have seen them once befor at Bonnaroo this year and was sold.  I wanted to like the show so much, and in the end we had to leave because the show was over and they wouldn't let us stand in front of the stage anylonger.  I am not in the touring biz, I am not an enginer, and I have never had the chance to work for a big production, but I have been to quite a few concerts for someone my age and this show was amazing.  It wasn't Bonnaroo but I didn't come with any expectation that it would be, and in several different aspects it was actualy better including the intimancy of te venue, the fact I was on the rail, and that Jim kept doing his solos and dance moves dirrectly in front of me.  The soun quality was pretty good in my opinion, in fact the Rialto has just got a new system which blows the old system away.  THeTUcson dissapontment people were too far back, whenever there are tapers at Rialto they stand about 25 feet in front of where they were and behind there everything goes to hell with the sound.  THe setlist was awesome, nearly everything I wanted to hear was on there and the band rocked the whole time.  Then to top it off I got a setlist.  When I left I had no thoughts that I should ask for my money back only thoughts that this show was worth way more than 34$.  When I found out that MMJ was playing Rialto I mentioned to a freind that I was in the process of converting to the band that this would be the show of the year at Rialto even in Tucson I was certainly was correct.

This is the setlist according to the setlist but I am not 100% it is totaly right

thanks for that review, awesome.

I was there and it was a great show!  I was directly in front of Jim's mic (aka my happy place!) and I thought the sound and mix were fine.  It was pretty loud, but I subscribe to the  "if it's too loud, you're too old" train of thought.

MMJ rawked! ;D

We must have been right next to eachother.  How far back were you?

Janet

I was the totally uncool middle aged woman to the right of the barracade.  There was no one in front of me.  I wore devil horns for the first part of the show.   8-)

count me in on that campaign....
or maybe Sooner?  Bermuda Highway?  I have only seen these performed live once at separate shows.....
Portland will be the down home vibe, with the trees and the stars and all.
Seattle will be an attempt to contain the power of MMJ (i have never been to McCaw, but it looks purty  ::))

But wow, twilight....good thinking Ms. Yvon! :D

I remeber seeing someone with horns.  I was on the rail in front of jim's mic, just to the right of the people screaming Bermuda Highway the entire time.

Molly Mo

Hey! Woo! I was there! With bacon! And i think I stood next to you MMJanet.

Free bacon at a concert would be pretty neato. I could be the bacon lady. Spreading bacon and band love to the people of the world!
