We got back yesterday from Seattle after a long long day on the road. What an amazing time. It was our first chance to see full length shows.(pemberton was short) We managed to get on the front at Edgefield and met up with Evon and Kim.(as well as a few other I think) Thanks again for the badass sticker. You guys were awesome and we will definatly see you again on the next west coast swing. Sorry we didn't meet up again after Seattle. Suprising setlist on friday! It was cool to see Jim play with the John before MMJ. Seattle was just incredible, we were dead centre actually leaning on the stage!!! Got a set list and a drum stick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We also have some amazing pictures I will try to get them up. I want to thank MMJ for doing what they do and MMJ fans for being so cool in such a fucked up world.

Could you post the Seattle setlist as a reply here? I was at the show and wrote a review on my blog and would love to see the song order.

What a phenomenal show! I had so much fun, despite the TAME crowd. At least I got up to the front when security wasn't around :)  Jim James is a god!!!

did anyone else see the cop show up?  I think the staff called because somebody lit up during the show and they obviously weren't used to rock shows.

it was priceless, the cop walks in and looks around it awe.  Then the little old usher goes running up to him and tells him she could smell it.  The cop just looked at her and said "what the hell do you want me to do about it? there's thousands of people in here!" he walked out and didn't come back.

Really? Why? Were people arguing about how amazing the set list was?

Hmmm, not sure I like that idea. I realize there is a section in the forum for anything-goes style discussion but at the very least it should have been moved or locked/stubbed so one doesn't wonder if it was all a dream... I thought it was perfectly benign stuff. Just a couple of people complaining about the venue and one clueless dude complaining about the band.

Yes, I witnessed that.

Not your typical Opera crowd...

Here's a review from a writer that traveled from Chicago to Seattle to review the band for this wicked-awesome blog:

"I'm not doing them any justice. You have to be there. You have to buy a ticket and go to the show. There's no short cut. You can't load it up on YouTube and know how I felt being there. Every moment that passes now is a second farther from the show and it's unsettling knowing that the memory is going to become less and less vivid. It's childish, I know, but I don't want to let that feeling go."

Another convert!!!! ;D ;D

That is indeed an awesome quote.  I have felt that way after a few shows, MMJ always being one of them.
