Personally, I like the influence that soul/dancey music has had on Jim's song-writing, but then again I like Sade, so..... 8-)

I don't remeber which song I heard pre-fab guitars.  I'll check it out again Thurs. and Fri.  I must say, the feedback has been interesting and, to a certain degree, seeing your thoughtful responses has eased my mind on the topic.  It had me kinda bummed to be questioning the nature of their live performances.... In any event, they're still the best band going - along with Mule and the Cardinals - and would love to hear them stripped down some time.  Can't wait for Thurs. and (esp.) Fri.
