So what was actually broadcast from the show?  Based on the comments it sounds like it wasn't much.

They cut off the song Evil Urges right at the best part when it gets all Zeppeliny toward the end.

evil urges was played before new years, since they werent wearing the white tuxes...  so it wasnt live when they showed it on cnn

It was at about the 90 minute mark of the the two hour program.  They cut part out of the middle and then cut the end off.  What a joke.    Why would you go thru all the trouble of putting this together and then cut away so we can hear Kathy Griffen run her mouth some more?  Strange.

My girlfriend told me she saw it after midnight.  She said the sound wasn't great at all.  If you are a fan and didn't see it, it is probably better off.

I might get yelled at for saying this, but the end of EU sounds an awful lot like the end of Guyute. Not like they ripped them off, but I hear a lot more Phish in that song than Zep.
