QuoteI don't camp (too old @ 47)  :'(

Don't make me come over there.  I don't camp.  Ever.  I camped at Bonnaroo and I'm close to your age!

Ohhhhh, a rescheduled European tour sounds s'wonderful.

i agree--that is why they invented VIP camping ;-)!!

Actually, I looked into VIP packages and the final cost was greater than going to NYC twice and Miami Beach combined.  The extracurricular activity in those cities are a little better than Tennessee.

Plus my 25 year old girl friend is much less camp-worthy.  As much as she is a fan (now, I had to convert her), I couldn't see her lasting through the night and through the rain, since she crashed and burned at Langerado and  Lollapalooza.

And even though she made it through NYE in flying spirits, at 4am she called it quits at the Amanda Palmer show at the Bowery Ballroom (one she wanted go to).

My hope is a show in either London, Paris, or Amsterdam.   One day, maybe Bonnaroo (w/o the girlfriend probably).
Pops, Langerado, Lollapalooza, RCMH, Miami Beach, MSG, St Aug, T5.

Now what? Definitely looking forward to summer festivals. And pre-summer I guess. Considering Coachella because of a friend in CA even though I doubt MMJ will be there.

I can't wait for the next concert and a Monsters of Folk tour would probably be the end of me. I've been listening to the one show from '04 at least once a day (Minneapolis) and the songs are like a beacon. They HAVE to go on tour again.

Look forward to meeting more forum folks, too.
Cow temperature.

The monsters of folk tour was indeed awesome. Ticket prices would be a lot higher this time around though. I went to the Philly show at the Troc and paid $10 for my ticket!

If I go this year, I'm not buying tickets until the week before and getting a deal on Craigslist. I've been let down by the lineups for the past two years and had someone decide to get married on the day the Jacket was playing last year, so I couldn't make it.

I still hold out hopes, but I hope it returns to a folksier or jam-based format this year.

MMJ at 'roo '06 is one of the best moments of my life.
I'm surrounded by assholes

Salacious D

I was under the impression they weren't doing roo this year due to James' side project.
Because if there's one thing that goes well with shooting zombies it's a Dolly Parton cover-el chode
