Salacious D

Love the "Only Living Boy" suggestion.

Got chills just thinking about the "nothing to do today but smile" line.

That would be amazing.
Because if there's one thing that goes well with shooting zombies it's a Dolly Parton cover-el chode

I'm gonna go with Jim's own recommendation . . . William Devaughn "Be Thankful For What You´ve Got"   8-)
None of this is physical . . . at least not to me.

That'd be awesome. Last year around this time I saw Yo La Tengo on their acoustic tour and they played that. Those were really great shows. Some day when I have a steady job that earns me more than minimum wage, I'm going to save up a little every month and then blow it on all the Hanukkah shows in Hoboken. That's the dream anyway.

ELO- Telephone Line ENOUGH SAID!!!

Actually just about anything by ELO would be awesome  :D
And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make

I have been secretly holding out for this as the epic cover.  Didn't even want to mention it for fear of a jinx!  I hope they do the 1980 dance version, however.  It is boogieliscious!

People, the correct answer of course is EMOTIONAL RESCUE.

just once, I'd love to hear a band, any band, cover this.  and I don't see why MMJ couldn't jam it out if they wanted to.

and like many others have been saying, anything by Neil Young would be saweeeet.  Cowgirl in the Sand maybe?

That would be pretty bad ass...especially if Tom does the dance that Pete does in the beginning  ;D

fleabag

I heard America's "Horse with no name" on the radio a few weeks back, and I immediately thought I'd like to hear MMJ cover it.

Jim's voice would be perfect!

Warren Zevon's 'Excitable Boy' would be a song they could destroy (also with horns)

(and Ween kills it with their version of Band on the Run)

I would love any Warren Zevon song.

I've also been on a Blind Faith kick lately.  Think they could do Had to Cry Today?
