halloween costume contest at the palace!

As expected, the Monsters of Folk have added a Halloween costume contest as part of their Oct. 31 show at the Louisville Palace. It starts at 5:30 p.m. in the downstairs bar, aka Stage Door Johnny's, and categories are most scary, sexy, unique or your favorite MoF band member. If you dress as Conor Oberst, you'll actually have a shot at all four categories.

Four winners will receive two backstage passes and a cameo onstage during the show.

i hadn't yet decided if i was going to wear a costume...now it's a no-brainer!
