I'm working on a setlist for Seattle, but in the meantime, here's the MMJ songs played:
Golden (full band), I Will Be There When You Die (JJ, CO), Bermuda Highway (JJ+drummer playing lead guitar), Wonderful (JJ, MW), Look At You (JJ solo), Smokin' from Shootin' (full band), At Dawn (full band)

The show should have been at the Moore....

Quote Wonder what it looks like from outside our die-hard bubble, you know?

I'm definitely in that bubble.  I obviously get way over worked by the negativity but it's like someone is bashing my kids, you know, I can't help it.

The comment that burns me the most is when soemone says a show was too long.  I just can't wrap my brain around that concept.  So if he left halfway thru, would he have loved it? :-/
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I couldn't control myself on the first notes of At Dawn.  I am not sure how loud I said it, but I was all like "yes" or something like that.  It was pleasantly quiet between songs so it sounded like I was loud.  Anyone hear me?
OMG, I absolutely heard you from downstairs.  I said to Matthew: "HA, I KNOW that was Liz!" So awesome!

QuoteSummary of Seattle review to help save 3 minutes of your life.

"I don't like the record and didn't want to go but I went anyway and it was too long because, well you know I didn't want to go in the first place and I don't like the record so, you know, like 10 minutes would have been to long really, because I actually really wanted to see a My Morning Jacket show and I was hoping Carl and Bo would have knocked out M and Conor backstage and replaced them so they could do One Big Holiday and I could go home slightly less angry with the world."

You know, it's okay for someone to hold a different opinion... :-?  The reviewer admitted that he had low expectations going in, but he had several positive things to say about the performance too.  The review wasn't a baseless slam of the show; the main points he seemed to make was that he didn't agree with how it was advertised, the pacing of the setlist, and the fact he happens to prefer MMJ to Oberst or M. Ward.  That's not a crime last time I checked   ;)

I'm curious about the poor attendance.  The show here doesn't seem to be selling well either; this morning I could still pull up tickets in the dress circle.

Sweet poster.

If you don't like M. Ward or Conor, why would you go see a band that M. Ward and Conor are both in? And then bitch that you had to watch M. Ward and Conor perform? Don't get it.

I don't want to get my hopes up, but I am waiting to see "I will be there when you die" live.  It is the last song I would like to see Jim do.  I hope I will see it in Louisville.  I thought about how great it would have been if he would have sang it at the Rud show a couple weeks ago.
Hooked on four like one, two, three

Just got out of the fox, such a good time.  Was hoping to get a copy of the setlist but no dice. Don't have a full setlist, but they played the entire MoF album sans the 2 tunes I wanted to hear the most... Ahead of the Curve and Magic Marker. JJ/MMJ tunes were Wonderful the way I feel, golden, Bermuda hwy, masterplan, smokin from shootin, (which absolutely killed it) at dawn. Feel like I'm possibly spacing another.  M. Ward is amazing, his voice is like buttah!  Down point of the night... some p.o.s. Stole my hat off one of the tables on the floor level. damn you thief!

Masterplan was not played tonight.  I know, because I would have gone apeshit if they played it.  You forgot Look At You.

jaye

yep, no masterplan.   And no I will be there when you die.  What an incredible show though!!    I was a little surprised they didn't play Ahead of the Curve.    Smokin from Shootin and At Dawn were the best.

The sound system could have been better, but the musicians were amazing, there was great energy in the room, and the audience was respectful.   Really lovely show.

walterfredo

Sorry, my bad. Driving home last night my buddy said they played masterplan.  Sorry for the bad info. And yes, forgot look at you, posted that after multiple whiskey drinks! Great show.

Without full playlists from any show yet except Vancouver, I am not able to update with any certainty the full list in the first post of this thread.

So far, the only additional song I can add seems to be "Look at You." And since I don't know where it came in the show, I have added it to a new category: "Known to have been played".

It appears that some songs from the Vancouver show have not necessarily been played at subsequent shows either (e.g., Ahead of the Curve, I Will Be There When You Die, Magic Marker). I am not sure how or whether to keep track of these.

I have been pretty busy too and not able to spend as much time on this - so if anybody wants to chime in with verifiable info, I will make the updates to the list on the first page.
