Think they'll break out any new ones on this tour?? If I remember correctly they played Evil Urges songs before the album was released.

I phukin hope so...but if they don't I won't cry. I could see a couple of songs from MOF being slipped in.

I see new music being played, if not I doubt they will play any MoF. Maybe if it is just JJ and a guitar, i just don't see the whole band covering music from a band members side project. For example years and years ago I saw KISS and they did not play Back in the New York Groove... ;D

They did, but it was only like, 3 months before EU dropped. They did play a couple of Z songs well before that was released, so who knows.

I was suggesting that JJ would do his songs from MOF, like he did when he played on Valentine's Day.

That's what i'm saying as well, but to be honest if I had to make a bet on weather or not they will do any MoF I would bet on no. Personally, I would rather hear a new cover or more MMJ tunes than a MoF song. No disrespect to MoF but at an MMJ show, the more MMJ the better. At a JJ solo show I would expect an eclectic variety of tunes. Just like he did on Valentines day.

It would be nice to hear some of the older songs come back to the set  with a nice and new 2010 polish to them.

Yeah!  You know we'll at least get a new take on some existing tunes.  That's as exciting as new songs.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I've come to the conclusion that I want The Dark to open the Merriweather show.

I'm sure they will melt our faces as always. There will def be some new covers. Maybe Jim will do a few songs for the MOF album. And hopefully bring out some old school songs they haven't played in a while. MMJ are one of the best live bands going so I will be disapointed if they play the same old shit from the last tour...
Wakin up feelin good and limber!

Honest Man

I would love to hear MMJ do Losin Yo Head and can someone tell me why they don't ever play Honest Man? It is one of my favorites.

They played it a couple times on the '07 tour if I remember correctly.
