Well, glad there wasnt any presale because I wouldve missed out.

But, so, yeah....Im looking on Ticketfly right now, and not only is Merriweather not listed as a venue they sell for, but when you search My Morning Jacket it comes up as "no events found"

What gives?!

Just an observation - I noticed that if your purchase reserved seating tickets via Ticketfly, they don't show you the seat or row that you're in.  I don't know, maybe it will be different for the Merriweather tickets, but it seems like even if we are lucky enough to grab up seats inside the pavilion, we won't know exactly where we are sitting until we actually get the tickets. All this ticket stuff is driving me crazy, sorry if I'm overanalyzing this!

I really hope that we are all just unnecessarily  stressing out about this "not getting inside tickets thing".

MPP isn't a small venue.. And although there seems like a lot of people on here going to the show, MMJ is still unknown to the mainstream population.  Meaning, my guess is that there isn't going to be a whole lot of people outside of this community fighting for tickets tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. Really... How many people do you think outside of this community even know tickets go on sale tomorrow, and of those, how many do you even think are going to remember to be on their computers at 10 a.m. on the dot?  Maybe I am being overly optomistic, but I am just hoping that we all get great seats!  :)

Pavillion is GA according the the MPP post on FB today. Everyone can now settle down and not have to worry about a rush at 10AM.  :)

The whole pavilion is GA, or just the Pit section?

Here's what it says:

Quote$45 General Admission Pavilion [ch8231] $36 Lawn
Tickets on sale Friday, February 26th at 10 AM through Ticketfly

I'm betting ticketfly still isn't ready to handle this and that was the best solution.

Well, that takes away the temptation to scalp for some great seats.

Their homepage @ merriweathermusic.com just says Pavillion $45.00, no mention of Pavillion being ga there. They also have a seating chart up and it doesn't show any Pavillion ga, pit or other for this show.

I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow to know exactly what's up.
"Where's Jim going?"

AMightyCaporal

I'm betting its going to be seating and lawn, no GA
Oh I'll never say I knew you, but my heart can't wait to meet you on the other side

mahg33ta

Interesting though that on the facebook page, all other shows in today's post say "pavilion" and MMJ says "General Admission Pavilion"

for ex: m3 rock:  $175 VIP · $75 & $55 Pavilion · $35 Lawn
sugarland:  $76 & $56 Pavilion [ch8231] $36 Lawn
MMJ:  $45 General Admission Pavilion [ch8231] $36 Lawn

Seems like an intentional distinction.   However, I agree that no sign of this on the homepage.  Confusion continues!

I'd prefer reserved seating, but I'll take what I can get.  I'll get to see MMJ live and that's all I really care about.

I just called merriweather and they said that the pavlion is all reserved seating.

Thanks for the update, John!  I wonder why the details are so sketchy so close to the on-sale time.

From ticketfly themselves. The floor is non-seated general admission. The remainder of the pavilion is seated reserved. Hope this helps.
