Actually, if you do it with Goldblum as The Fly THAT would be awesome

the admin posted this sale will be on ticketmaster. but this press release from the venue indicates otherwise...

http://www.merriweathermusic.com/PRESSRELEASE_MPP_TF.pdf

The first shows selling through Ticketfly will be the May 1st My Morning Jacket and the
May 16th Sugarland shows. Both will go on sale Friday, February 26 at 10am.
"When My Morning Jacket heard we had a shot at a new ticketing provider, with lower
service charges, they held up their on-sale date to give us a chance to get it going in
time," said Hurwitz. "We appreciate their support in building a new model. It's one thing
for a band to complain about service charges, it's another to take action. Hopefully,
they will be the first of many that prove their sincerity about their fans and their ticket
prices."

right now, the event isn't listed on either site.

This is fantastic!  Thanks Jacket.  Thanks Ticketfly.  Much needed competition in the ticket distribution market is here?  No more collusion?  Real price competition?   ::)

I guess we'll see here.  I haven't used Ticketfly much but I did use it for Dr. Dog/Deer Tick.  $15 still became $21.75 for will call.  I guess it's better than the Master

Prices just listed for the show - $45 pavilion, $32 lawn.

Also, doors at 6:30 pm now (it was listed as 6).

A little troubling given Merriweather was a VERY hard 11 pm curfew.   Not one of these "play late and you'll get fined", but "we won't let you play past 11".

No prob for back in the "an evening with" days, but if the jazz band is opening, we aren't getting an epic length show.

I wonder if there will be any general admission tickets, or if everything will be assigned.  Either way, I can't wait!  :D

yes - thanks for the info!

re: curfew - it seems like a few of the venues on this tour have the same issue.  it'd be great if they could play a long epic show but i'm willing to settle for just an epic show of medium length - quality not quantity  :P

also, since you seem familiar w/ this venue - i've been reading on here that there's a strict "no tailgating" policy as well.  is that strictly enforced as well or is it like in, say giants stadium - where as long as your spread doesn't take up any add'l parking spaces they just look the other way.  other places you can't blatantly be drinking (bottle or cans) but those red plastic cups are ok... things like that.

just wondering if this is one of the reasons for the pre-party thing.

Whenever I went to a show there, I was tailgating.  Now, unless that has changed since I was there last.  With Ticketfly doing the sales, does anyone know if there will be a pre-sale????

last summers phish show people were there drinking all day. i got there at 3 because i didn't have a ticket yet, and they were not giving anyone problems.

also, i am fairly certain that the show went past 11pm.

No word on a pre-sale? I don't want to miss out.
