MMJ at Mile High Festival on 8/15

I had seen posts earlier in the thread hoping for another Denver show, but the Festival contracts prohibit other local appearances by the big acts for a long time both before and after the festival. Widespread Panic missed a year at Rock Rocks due to their appearance in last year's festival.

I am not pleased to see so much overlap among bands I wanted to see with my kids.

I see they announced the schedule for the festival. I'm so happy I'll be able to see the boys play at least an hour and a half. I would've been disappointed if it was just an hour. I'm not going to be able to catch Atmosphere...that sucks.  I'm guessing my brother will be going to Atmosphere and I'll be at the Jacket. I'll still be able to catch Jimmy Cliff. I've never seen or really listened to DMB before, so maybe I'll have a life changing experience.

My friend is highly upset that MMJ and Atmosphere will be playing at the same time. I'm just glad they will be on for over an hour!

So I take it you're going? Sweet! I remember the last time we stayed at the same hotel, but found that out later. I hope to see you there this time brother!

Haha I remember that!  Maybe we will run into each other this year. I don't remember which hotel we are staying at this time. Something like Hotel 3030 or some shit.

My brother is handling the hotels and pretty much everything else. I think we're within a mile of the venue, so we can get faced and walk or stumble back. I'll ask him and let you know. I know we called around to see if any hotels were having shuttles, but it didn't seem like any of them did.

Maybe we can have continental breakfast together this time too. I remember the last time the breakfast was money ;D

The hotel we are staying at is Best Western 3737. We are about 3 miles away from the venue. Two weeks from today we'll be seeing MMJ!
