The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

LOL Johnny!

Brooke, we are going down....and as of now we are planning to truck back to Jersey the same nite -- still a little up in the air on that, but we both took the day off Monday, so no pressure.

Let me know if you decide to go!

tdb - don't know if you caught my post on the Philly roll call thread, but I got the 4 - star Hyatt @ Penns Landing for $70.00 through Priceline for the night of the show. I was planning on driving back to LBI after the show, but couldn't turn that deal down.

It's right across the street from the Riverstage, and only a couple of minute walk. 8-)

Cool beans headhunter. I guess you weren't kidding when you said you were going to try it after Newport. 8-)

Looking like this might be the place for a pre-show meetup. Hope to meet some folks before the show also.

newport was awesome.

my wife and i took the road trip to merriweather post a few months back and it was one of the best 24 hour trips we ever took.  amazing show!

she told me i could go to all 5 at terminal 5 in nyc but only if i took her to philly for the mmj show.

she didn't have to twist my arm that hard.

Yes, MPP was a great show,and I'll be hitting all 5 @ T5 also. 8-)

Glad the Priceline deal worked for you too.

Have you looked into taking a train down?

Amtrak  has a train out of NYC Penn Station leaving @ 1:17 and arriving at Philly 30th St. Station @ 2:38 for $35.00. Return trip leaves Philly @ 10:45.

You could also look into NJ Transit, also leaving NYC Penn Station with a connecting train from Trenton to Philly. Those trains leave NYC @ 10:14, 11:14, and 12:14 and arrive in Philly @ 12:45. 1:45, and 2:45, and run $15.50. The return trains leave Philly @ 10:49, and 11:49, arriving in NYC @ 1:35 and 2:35. I believe the layover in Trenton for any of these is only about 15 minutes.

Its going to be the best Sunday EVER!
Oh I'll never say I knew you, but my heart can't wait to meet you on the other side

Northern Neighbour

Is anyone else going to the Canandaigua show and then heading to Philly?  We plan on hitting both shows, although we have a very complicated travel arrangement.

ugh .. wind out of my sails. i was going to maybe take trish up on her offer for the way down and take amtrak back .. but looks like i might have to work 6 days that week so a hail mary down to philly would probably destroy me .. *or*.. if i'm not working i have to go to some damn country house for a close friends birthday which is a sorta last hurrah before their move out west.

damn folks getting in the way of my MMJ (insert me shaking my fist) .. if i have to work i might still haul ass down on sunday for some tail shaking though .. i'm not ready to start acting old and tired yet  ;)
