Notice at about the 5:12 mark Jim goes donkey tipping.  Not sure if this is the culprit for the 'face melting' but maybe.  Poor Pooch.

That first photo isn't from Mile High, it's from Columbus.  So, he had a little while longer from point A to point Surgery.
