QuoteIf anyone could send/post the complete (preferably one long file) of the webcast I will happily mix it with my AUD source. The SBD would be nice to mix in because the front (where I was) was loading up with DMB fans, and since Dave isn't in MMJ they didn't seem to give a shit about the music (at least the people around me).

Sound at the beginning of the set left a little bit to be desired. Pretty quiet, and was being blown around by the wind.

Thanks!

I'll post the three .wav files I have.  Maybe someone can make tracks, as I am pretty busy right now and won't get to it for another day or two.  Just please post the result.  The sound was recorded from the video stream using Freecorder 4.  The sound peaked during Circuital, then came down again, so there's a boost for about 1.5 songs.

Stay tuned...

I'm a DMB diehard who loves MMJ. I kept referring to MHMF as "The Day I See DMB and MMJ," if that gives you any idea.  :)

I was disappointed there wasn't a stronger reaction for Jacket, although, by the same token, I was pleased to see a number of people around me knew some of the words.

QuoteI think it's funny that Walts has to subject himself to Train in order to get up close for the Jacket ;D

hahaha, I bet he's getting wasted right now.

i think i saw him..and btw, Walts knows ALL the words to soul sistuh (LOL?)

Jacket prolly on a different stage?

You're right TEO.  Thanks for spoiling the only part about Train that I was enjoying. ;) :'(

That's funny!

I'm glad you guys had a good time. I know TGMC and I did. We did have to step over DMB fans to get close. The two DMB fans by us ended up being really nice, even after I talked a little junk right off the bat.

Oh, I got a picture with Jim. I'm waiting for TGMC to send it to me, and then I'll be in the select club!

Haha, yeah I wish I could've had some ribs. The beers were $10, so I had to choose eat or drink? It was an easy choice.

The trip to Colorado was awesome. Thursday and Friday we were in Fort Collins. We went to the Odell's brewery and New Belgium. Both were awesome. If anyone has a chance to hit up the New Belgium brewery tour, it's a must see. Easily the best brewery tour I have ever been on. You drink the whole way through the 90min tour, go down a slide, and drink the whole way through! Ran into an insider who told me which hotel The Jacket was staying at, but I didn't stalk...thought about it  ;)

Saturday we went to Red Rocks. That was nice to just spend day there and hike around. There was a Mini (Winnie) Copper gathering there for some reason. Went to the Rockies game later that night. I got ripped on for my A's hat, but it was all in good fun. The weather was perfect. Milwaukee won, so I was cool with that.

Sunday. Well that was just the highlight of the trip. It was sweet to hang out with another forum member and his friends. The Jacket was great, as you guys were able to see! Although one of the cameras pretty much cut off my vision to Snowy Broemel. Train of course ripped it as usually. Meet Virginia was on point. But their slowed down version of Drops of Jupiter was a special treat for a special day!  ;)  ;D

I'll be posting some pictures sometime. Especially the one with me and Jim!

Does anyone mind if I make some MP3's and post them on The Steam Engine?

I wanted to ask since the text file with the download asks not to. Thanks!

I'm still downloading the two files coldengrey12 put up.  Text file?  If he made these from the wav files I provided, I don't believe you have anything to worry about.  You know you have my permission.

I'm really sorry we didn't get to meet. I didn't make it and I'm sorry. We'll have to do it up right the next time you make it out here. Glad you had such a great time.  :)

So, if I have this right, the lineage for these audio files is:

webcast > 3 .mp3 files > .wav file > slice and dice > more mp3 files > flac files

?

coldengrey12

QuoteText file?  If he made these from the wav files I provided, I don't believe you have anything to worry about.  You know you have my permission.

Yeah, I was trying to make it look all cool and torrent-y, so I copy/pasted another torrent's info and built mine off of that. I wasn't sure how you felt about it and I have strong feelings on the subject.

I did not convert to MP3 for this reason. I saved wavs and converted them into FLACs.

Looks silly when you lay it all out like that.  Freecorder records any sounds coming from your sound card as mp3.  I converted it to wav, as  I understood wav files to be more useful for editing purposes.  After that...
