QuoteBTW-still looking for the first night at The Chicago Theater.  HELLO!!!

I've been looking for a recording of either night forever, would you pretty please be willing to do a b&p? I have a bunch of other live music too if you want to do an old fashioned trade  Check your pm's :)

MMJ put on an epic show last night.  The guys seriously never disappoint, and I still believe last night is the best show I've seen them perform.

Out of my 11 shows it was up there as one of the best. Again, I'm so ready for NYC it is stupid.

I'm stupid kicking myself for not booking NYC due to schedule conflicts.

Can somebody help me out? What was the the song they came on the stage to?

I'm sure the answer is somewhere in this forum, but I can't find it.

QuoteAlright, somebody else read this just so I'm not the only person who thinks this is one of the worst reviews they've ever read.

I don't think it's so bad, but he lost me pretty quickly out of the gate..."innately conservative" are not words I'd generally apply to the Jacket.

I don't think its too horrible either.  The "innately conservative" thing is a little odd.  Also, the question of "whats next" shouldn't be an issue.  The show was incredible and I never found myself asking "whats next".  I guess maybe I was just too caught up "in the moment"

QuoteIt was a tease of Rollin Back to open...not the whole thing. Still pretty exciting.

Damn fine night of music.  EMR, Masterplan...and Steam Engine brought me to tears.

I'm ready for NYC.  Bring it on  :)

Lovely cool overcast evening with a nice lake breeze. And the rain held off till just now.

Glowsticks were present but none thrown - hallelujah.

I was with a group of mostly casual fans and they were all blown away. We all fully expect MMJ to come back and headline a night of Lollapalooza next year.

Lovely to meet some new friends tonight too   :)  I'm terrible with names but Jason's friend in the pink shirt - great to meet you!  Gah.  Kristen?  My memory is awful    :-[

Good seeing you again Maggie!

asdyasfjaskffl Masterplan.... Easy Morning.... Bermuda Highway, LAY LOW IS BACK   :)

+ Carried Away (My personal favorite from Merriweather, besides Steam Engine of course)

The best setlist so far... Hope Philly's half as good  ;D
I NEEDED IT MOST WHENEVER tbh

10 feet or so back on Jim's side, how about you guys? My buddy Joe, it was his first time. I got this text this morning "Last night blew my f*cking mind. Got a whole new appreciation for James and MMJ."

He's locked in for life now!

That's about where we were!  Can't believe I didn't see you.   ;D

Everyone I was with was really impressed.  The boys really brought it last night.  Good times.   :)

ok guys i dont mean to be this guy, but i guess i'm gonna have to do it...

they ended about 10:40. one of the girls i was with got the setlist (and one got a drumstick, but thats besides the point), they ran???? was at the bottom again. they had plenty of time to play it. ALSO, playing end of run thru is expected, but playing only part of 3 songs? i feel like we shouldve gotten all of lay low... HOWEVER, Bermuda Highway, Masterplan, Dancefloors, Steam Engine made up for that.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

flugger

Sound isn't the best...but it's the token Chicago version of Circuital !!

Always starting over, but somehow I always know where to begin.

I understand your frustration, I feel your pain, but you got a top notch setlist there.  Thar she blows!  The White Whale!  Again she eludes me.  Perhaps tomorrow, she'll be mine!  Perhaps...

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Just heard the recording from this show...

TMIGTS2 Into Lay Low was pretty fucking epic!  :)

"Lovely cool overcast evening with a nice lake breeze. And the rain held off till just now."

I swear it seems like every time they play an epic show it starts pouring, it's no coincidence.

Also, does anyone know what the song they came out to was?
Very cool and Rollin Back was perfect to come off it.

I asked this question a couple of pages back and will shamelessly bump this thread.  I need to find out this song...it was so beautiful!  Does anybody have a recording of the concert?  I can Shazam it!

Edit: I found a couple of recordings of the show and Shazam didn't work.  However, below is a link and you can download a recording of the recording.
