Those are some damn amazing photos!

What kind of camera did you use for those snaps? Did you get a press pass? I'm going to the show on Saturday and would love to get shots even half as good as those.

We just hung around for a bit after the show... Directly behind the stage was where the busses and trucks were parked so we just hung out and then Tommy walked by and we said hello, and then it turned into a 30 minute conversation.  Nicest guy ever.  At one point a Volvo drove by and the people in the car waved to us so we waved back then realized it was Carl and Patrick... funny!

TOMMY SAYS THERE WILL BE NO NYE SHOW.  He also said that Holyoke and Essex Junction were the band's favorite shows of the tour.  He also said that MMJ is the best live act around.  Just kidding, I said that.

No press pass... with these GA shows, as long as you are on line to get in when they open the gates, just go make your mark.  Assuming they don't hassle you about the camera at the door.  I used a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1.  It's a pocket camera, but it produces decent low light images and has a great zoom.  Would love to bring an SLR in, but I'm sure I would need a pass for that one!

Amazing!  So happy I was able to be apart of the Essex show!

What are the odds -- I've practically got the same camera! I picked up a TZ7 because of all the great things I heard about the Lumix series and non-SLR concert photography. Sorry for all the questions, but what camera setting did you use for most of those shots? Thanks again for your help!

great video - LOVE seeing footage of what I just saw.   Brings back great vibes.

I was 3 people or so to your right - directly in front of Jimmy.   When you panned over I thought we were gonna get a Magh33ta sighting (kinda relieved we didn't)

I like the last 30 seconds - captures the chaotic nature of the Lay Low ending - very Blair Witchian!

No worries!  It's actually my sister's camera so I'm not fully down with all the manual settings, so I just had it on "normal picture" and set the flash to never fire.  THAT'S IT.  If you're close enough, it's all that matters!

You were almost documented!  I think when Lay Low kicked in I completely forgot the camera was in my hand... as you know, time stand still and you just kind of freak out.  Totally blair witch...

What a night!

Everyone went home right after the show and nobody told us to leave so we stuck around. We were the only three there and Tommy came out and shot the shit with us for like a half hour. Great end to a great evening, not to mention nobody threw me out after Michael left so I hung out for a little longer.
