The last time the band played Red Butte it was roundly viewed as one of their best live shows in the post hiatus era (2019-2025), with a rare Spinning My Wheels, Steam > Phone > OBH with Johnny Quaid, it was a stupendous gig.
I think the boys can top that, hopefully by dropping songs they ALWAYS play in Utah...they always always always play Gideon as it's a song about organized religion, but we've seen it to death, I'm Amazed, Touch Me II, Circuital...love these songs but I wanna hear a good mix without the war horses they don't have to play every time they're in a city like Salt Lake.

I haven't been to any this year yet. I am doing both the Fox Atlanta shows at the end of the tour and hopefully make it back up north (Philly or Boston)  for a couple before that.

I was able to make the Fillmore run last year and then my last show was Savannah Ga in September. Gotta get my Jacket fix soon, and not sure I'll be able to last til  the Fox.  So really trying to make something in the NE before those.

Man, well HOTLANTA always has BANGERS from MMJ. Absolute banger shows...2015 ATL was insane! Two of my Top 25-30 favorite MMJ shows.

Speaking of which...that ATL run had a TONITE I WANT 2 CELEBRATE w/ U opener!

Yeah man, the Fillmore run was as amazing as it sounds on nugs. It's right up there with the best multi night runs I've seen them do, and there's been a few.

The Fillmore was a bucket list venue for me for a long time and to finally get there and Jacket being the band, well it just doesn't get any better.

The only thing that could possibly have made it better was if it was a 5 nighter!

Looking forward to the Fox run as I had a blast there for the two night run a couple of years ago and getting an ISM night. This time we'll be treated to a Halloween show and a Z show so it's sure to be great!

WOW....Z show and a Halloween gig? Good lordy. Hopefully tonight is the motherload, Sooner, Come Closer, COBRA, Chills, Strangulation!, Hell, They Ran, Honest Man, Weeks go by like days, Tonite I want 2 celebrate with U, etc all the crazy rarities in one gig, come on MMJ!

I'd seen it before but it just felt right for the night 😄. 
That's the FIRST time Jacket have played AT DAWN > IT BEATS 4 U to open a show since Enmore Sydney January 2009 (a show that was filmed). 
They did that combination about 10x before and it was always one I'd wanted to hear open a show. Well, there we have it!

Beginning from the Ending is unbelievable. Pat on the drums at the end of that...good lord.

I also found a whole new respect for the intricacies of Tom's bass part during the intro of Tropics. Also, those lyrics kick so much ass. I don't care what some pitchfork review says. 

Die For It MUST be a single and MUST be a song that the band push to represent themselves rather than forgettable tunes like Everyday Magic and I Can Hear Your Love, two very odd choices, tho the EM video is insane 😄. 

I guessed Picture of You because it's a song for the West Coast, as Jim once said back in 2006 or so. And so I'd always wanted to see them play that at sunset and oh my god did we all witness a bonerific performance.
