I'm more a lurker, but I won too.  Is this a full show or just a few tunes?  I assume the latter... It'll be Letterman, (maybe) Portland on Friday and then T5 the entire following week.  Good times!

it's about a 45 minute show that is being shot after the taping of Letterman so it's not what would air on the show. it's strictly for webcast which is good for us  :)

hoping this doesn't conflict with the broadcast of any NLDS games...

So is anybody who is computer saavy going to record this tomorrow? Im working and it doesnt look like I'll be able to get off....Kind of want to see this.

Maybe CBS will archive it?

I'm hardly "savvy" (or "saavy" ;)), but I'll try to do what I did for the Mile High Fest webcast.  I never got much feedback to know if it worked for folks.  If I can pull it off, I'll post a download link here and under Tapings.

Way to go johnnY 8-)

I'll be traveling back from my daughter's and am going to miss the webcast, so I was hoping someone here would tape it.

Thanks for the effort and see you in NYC next week.

does anyone have details on webcast? place, time, etc. i know nothing about this webcast or any in general
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

cbs.com at 8pm EST is all I know.

btw, if anyone else thinks they can do a video capture of the webcast, go for it.  I'm having trouble with some test recordings and don't want to make a promise I can't keep.  Everyone here knows me well enough to know that I'll keep trying until showtime, then give up and watch in peace.

the last live on letterman, the gorillaz, is still available to watch.   so, I'm reasonably confident we'll get to see (if yacster misses taping)

Actually, it was the archived Gorillaz show I tried to record via screen capture tonight, to no avail.  I just recorded the 32 second comercial over and over.  I'm hoping the web feed will still work.  And I keep looking for some video capture software, but  I can't justify $40 and the free ones are mostly 2 minute free trials, so...  Still, cool that folks who miss it live can venture over at their leisure and get a better def version.

Here's a link that I believe will take you direct to the webcast feed tomorrow night: http://www.cbs.com//late_night/liveonletterman/my_morning_jacket/video/

ummmm ok .. so i just got this e-mail from someone i quasi know

I have access to a number of pairs of free tickets to tonight's MMJ - Live on Letterman concert which will take place at the Ed Sullivan Theater. You and a guest (it must be pairs) need to be at the theater around 7:15 to pick up your tickets. Doors open at 7:30 and the show starts at 8 and runs anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour.

You must 100% be able to attend with a guest.

he might give the tix to others on our mailing list but i did shoot him an e-mail explaining that there were a ton of folks that'd love to go and how practically no one here was able to score tix. so i could get a couple of pairs for you all or i could get none. i have no idea how to handle this but ... i dunno, PM me if your interested and can 210% go with a guest (and/or pair yourselfs up on here) .. and cross our fingers?! it's entirely possibly i might not hear back from this guy but i thought it was worth a shot.
