MMJ should forget about expanding their audience. Nobody wants to be associated with this band expect for dirty scumbag hippies and poseur indie rock kids like Conor Oberst.

I am neither of those.

I'm a middle aged white guy who enjoys pissing off the younger generation with my quick wit, wry sense of humor, collection of RUSH albums and happy-go-lucky attitude.

QuoteI understand it's not for the diehards.  However, if I'm watching them for the first time the power slide probably still comes off as forced and over the top for me.  Also, if I'm into rock music and watching them for the first time, I'm not sure what I think of the off key howling either.  I just don't think Wordless Chorus is a very good representation of the band for a first timer.
Best case song for exposure is simply "One Big Holiday". That is not really indicitive of the MMJ sound. I have been a fan for less than 6 months, but I know what inspired me. Wordless Chorus is an Iconic MMJ song. One of maybe 6 songs to expose someone to MMJ if you only had one song to pick.

sweethoard, that looks like the stripper I took home the other night from Scores.

Finally got a chance to watch. Didn't see Fiddle or Brooke though.
I love it that Jimmy gets such a kick out of saying "Yim Yames everybody, Yim Yames!" ...thought it was a mellow but great performance.
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

I think I saw hacksaw last night...I was going to say hello, but I flushed the toilet instead...bye bye piece of shit...man you were a stinky pile of mud.

Did Jim really give Jimmy Pooch's Donkey mask?
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

If you listen closely, you can hear JJ say "for you" when he's handing it to Jimmy...so we will have to wait and see.
