GivenToFly and I will be getting into the city sometime Monday afternoon, depending on how long it takes to check into our hotel ($200 for the whole week at the Newark Airport Sheridan, worth taking the bus). Must have listened to TTF 10 times in the past week, can't freakin' wait...

I will be there. I think I will be very drunk during this show like the rest of your dirty hippies. This is MMJ's weakest and most boring album and it's going to be a real snoozer live but a partys a party right?

Will possibly be looking to fight anybody who is smoking reefer anywhere near me...

Hey count me in for the first night, and all the other nights!!!! I'll be the thin man with long red hair, and will probably have the biggest shit-eating grin on my face. I'll be coming from Grand Rapids, Mi on a solo journey unlike any other. Down to chat about this that and other sort of thing!



Ps. Since I'm flying, I won't be coming with the green goodness. So if any y'all kind folks with an understanding heart wanna help a brother out, it'd be greatly appreciated!

ARG! Here's my predicament. I bought these tickets 4 months ago (morning the went on sale) and was completely elated to have the opportunity to see one of my favorite albums performed live in NYC.

The problem is I live in Virginia and to make it to the show would require some serious driving/busing on a VERY tight schedule. I would have to leave DC by bus at 7 am on Monday and leave NYC Tuesday night at 8 pm arriving in DC at midnight before hopping back in my car and driving 2.5 hours back to my Virginia home in time for work on Wednesday morning.

Please give me a pep talk or some sort of motivation to try and make this work. Or if anyone wants to buy two tickets also let me know. Sniff.

I'm coming from DC as well, taking the DC2NY bus.  I don't really understand your situation.  Why do you have to leave from DC so early on Monday, it's only 4.5 hours?  Also, why are you sticking around all day in NYC on Tuesday if you are not seeing the show that night.

In terms of needing a pep talk, these chances to see full albums performed are rare and sometimes require sacrifice if it really means alot to you.  

Last year, when Springsteen announced he was performing The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle at Madison Square Garden, I drove up from DC for it.  After the show I had to drive all night back to DC to catch a 7 AM flight the next morning to Seattle for a business trip.  It was brutal but that was a once in a lifetime thing to get to see.  Seeing TTF may be the same kind of thing.

Reason for leaving so early Monday is that I got tickets to the Redskin/Colts Sunday night game and I'm definitely going to that. Anyway, I got Bolt Bus tickets this morning so I'm there!!! Get ready for MMJ on Monday and enjoy friends and family in beautiful NYC Tuesday. Gonna be an epic trip!

sorry to hear that, i feel for you my friend... i hurt my foot last year at this time and was on crutches for 3 weeks... and,  i love the bear... and am hopelessly waiting to hear it.
