There is a charity wine tasting on Wed Oct 20th 6:30 - 8:30.   It's for Robin Hood which is a fantastic poverty-fighting organization in NYC.

I hesitated posting this here, because listing a $150/ ticket wine tasting just reeks of elitist BS that could get me flamed.    But, it is for a fantastic cause, and if anyone here loves wine, or wants to support Robin Hood, or just has money to burn to get a good buzz on, you might want to check it out.

$110 is tax-deductible and you also get a $50 gift card from Zachy's, a local wine store, if you buy tix this week.

You also get a free high-speed express taxi ride with Magh33ta from the tasting at 8:30 to get to Joe's Pub by 9 pm for Carl's show.

you will surely be in fine form for Carl's at Joe's...this sounds lovely.  We are training it in every nite from Jersey, so not sure what time we will be getting in after setting up the child with the child care etc.  i may have to have my own wine tasting on the train :)

Bobster!  Love it!!   So many balls in the air right now   :P  juggling childcare/work/domestic responsibilities etc....but we will indeed have a rock star night!
 
we were trying to stay the night on friday, but will have to be home for saturday anyway to play soccer mom...so it may not work... we shall see what will be!  Either way, we will celebrate P-Lane!
