gotta say, 3/5 of the band will be in town for carl's show, so i'm thinking maybe a MMJ show slipped in there?

I've been keeping an eye on this show and kinda doubt Jim will show up, as it would upstage Carl.  He could use a drummer, though.  ;)

SXSW has big surprises every year so I wouldn't be shocked if they played a little something. And to appease JohnnYYac they could do it on a different day and at a different venue! I am really hoping this happens and they do 3-10 new songs and that's it. Nothing else. That would be awesome!

Wasn't SXSW where they debuted Evil Urges, at least most of it?  I'm up for surprises, but I think March 19 is Carl's day in the spotlight.

I won't be able to catch this; going to a flower show in Boston with Mrs. Dr. Yac.  Lord knows, she deserves my indulgence in her interests at least once in a while.  Hopefully someone will capture it.

Oh I also wanted to add the IFC space is kind of lame. The performers play inside a sound booth and you kind of have to watch it on a close circuit tv. Also get there early if you want to get in. The lines this year have been crazy,
