First night I checked a poster, no issues.  Second night brought a tube, and also checked it with no problem.  I believe I overheard them saying at the merch stand that they'd hold on to them if you bought raffle tickets but I could be completely imagining that.

Sweet - thanks for the input. Now I have to try and get a poster so that they can hold it for me lol.

QuoteAny word on the posters for Thurs/Fri/Sat?

Burwell doing any/all 3?

Would love to see a Tyler Stout in there.

your guess is as good as anyones - looking at past poster artist, maybe Jay Ryan, Mike Davis, maybe Brad Klausen, would love an Emek !

Yeah, this would be good to know.  If I am lucky enough to get a poster on Friday, I really do not want to hang onto it all night.  Still won't forget the girl behind me at MSG who had her poster stolen.

QuoteI bought a poster at the show for $30, which I plan to do each nite. When the show was over and I walked outside, a guy offered me $40 for the poster. I told him I'd rather have the poster than the profit. Then, a couple minutes later, a mighty fellow seemed to NEED the poster, and offered me $120 for it. I really wanted the poster, but I couldn't turn down $120, right?

Probably the same guy who offered me $100. I said no.

this (big hairy scary guy right?) same guy offered me $80 - except when hwe approached me, he scared the shit out of me - he demanded "GIVE ME YOUR POSTER" i said "what??? NO!" and he kept saying "give me your poster, you dont underestand, i need this poster, i'll give you $80" I thought he was going to hit me so i kept walking and he soon enough found someone else to harrass.

- but seriously, (scary dude i know you will read this) that was NOT cool at all to scare the shit out of people on a dark street. I understand sometimes people go crazy over stuff, but cmon now - its just a poster and they will sell them online eventually as usual.

i wonder how bad it will be trying to get those pic disc vinyl......

So do they have tubes for the posters?

Can we check just the posters?

What's the situation with doors opening the past couple of days?

I've been to T5 before when they kind of open the doors but make you hang out in the rooftop area before the doors actually "open". Then at the "door opening" time... they left everyone downstairs to get their spots.

Has it just been the standard wait out front in line until the doors open at 7pm... or has there been access to the merch table BEFORE 7pm?

Night one doors were right at 7.  The whole venue was open at 7pm as well

That's how it's been so far.  Waiting upstairs and then able to go "in" at 7pm.

So were you able to get to the merch stand during the "waiting upstairs" period? Or on your way to the "waiting" area?

Or no posters until 7pm?

Sorry to be such a nerd... I'm just thinking about should I go for the poster first or try to get my spot on the balcony first....

I'm interested in this as well. I was going to head over to T5 around 630 and wait to get in til 7. Was anyone able to buy merch before 7pm or is it only after 7pm.

wamsankas

this seems a bit crazy right? will the posters really be sold out by 7:30? seems insane

the merch line really hasnt been that bad so far, people are really patient, and it seems they have enough just to go around to the people who really want them.
they wont sell before 7pm, they let people on the floor at 7pm.

jdkrick

how big a poster tube do you need to bring to protect the poster?

Step 1. Wait in line upstairs to go "in"
Step 2. At 7, they let you down to go into the venue.
Step 3. Some people rush to the front of the stage and get choice locations.  Others, (nerds such as us) walk to the merch table and wait in line for merch.

Good luck!

Is it going to be a choice between a poster and a balcony rail spot?  I don't really care if it's 2nd or 3rd balcony.  I plan on getting on line around 430/5, so hopefully I can do both!

Also, I have heard that 2nd floor Balcony dead center is reserved for VIP, is this true.
