QuoteDid anyone stop to think that those are 2 dudes, there are bears on Z, that's an orange soda, the title of this thread references "bumping", Jim's wearing a black shirt...  I don't know, but I'm just saying....

So...if you wear a black shirt that means you're gay?  Shit, I need to sell half of my t-shirt collection---stat! :o

And orange soda!?!  C'mon, it's not like he's drinking zima or something.  Everyone likes orange soda.  That's the one thing that brings people together...more than music, more than spirituality, more than family reunions...it's Orange Soda.

Waterloo is such a cool store. Its vinyl selection is nothing too special, but I could still spend hours in that place. When I'm in Austin I don't even get on Lamar for fear of passing by there and knowing that I will undoubtedly stop by 'to look'.

I think metrosexual would be something like cream soda or perhaps one of those organic, small batch, mom and pop sodas they sell at the health food store.  So...

Big Nasty

I was killing time at work, just browsing some old photos, and holy muckle! There seems to be an orange soda/liqueour/potion behind JJ and to the left in this picture taken in the Netherlands in 2000.

I don't need too much excuse to post old photos 'cause it's fun to do, so here goes:

Once again Jim's magic elixir is under suspicion.  The Jacket Junkies had a contest about Jim's mysterious potion.  It has always been orange, but that was the only clue people got.  Anyone remember the answer?

Before the Aspen Edge via Coors dodge, the very first corporate dollars thrown to the band were for SISI.  It made him a multi-millionaire, but SISI is not the liquid in Jim's Jug.

The elixir made many stage appearances:

That's flipping great -- I love me some intrigue!

As for my guess, since I have no clue what it really is, I'll go with Cisco Peach!

Gin and Honey?  mabey Bourbon and Honey.  It's got Honey in it for sure.  Could be liquid honey straight up.

bowl of soup

They sell this shit in alaska that is basically 1/2 tang and 1/2 instant tea mixed together and served warm (I'd rather drink bong water) and it looks very much like the elixer.

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I recall the thread.  I think it helps sooth his voice or something.

i haven't seen him drink this in awhile...

what's the answer!?!?
If you're lucky, MMJ will fill the void you didn't even know you ever had. If you're luckier, you'll get to see them live.

I thought it was green tea and honey, but I can't quite remember.

thebigbang

The jug was supposed to be Jim's special blend of lemon, honey and water.  The better for keeping that honey sweet voice in shape for the road.

He never shared with the other guys, for which I am certain they are eternally grateful.

Maybe it's a Jones Soda or a Stewarts Orange?  Who knows?

Ryan,

Congrats & GR8 pic. Thanks 4 sharing. I too met Jim very quickly as he was walking to his tour bus outside of The Wiltern in LA. I thought oh man if he blows me off but he shook my hand & let me praise him 4 a minute then he said thank u. I pray they never get so big that they don't have the time to let the fanbase get close. But then u want them to get big cuz they should b BIG!
