I think he's definitely influenced!  He and Marc Ford actually covered 'Set the controls For the Heart of the Sun.'

Jacques Brel is great. I bought 'Surprise surprise surprise' by Miracle Legion last week, wich is spinning as we speak and very beautiful - I love that man's voice. And ofcourse I'm addicted to the new R.E.M....

- Richmond Fontaine: Lost Son (Out in the USA 1999, but here up in the north 2004, from El Cortez records)
- Frank Black: frankblackfrancis (say no more!!!)
- R.E.M.: Around The Sun (yepp, they are a little bitt nostalgic....)
- Nick Cave: Abattoir Blues/The Lyre Of Orpheus (one of his best cd's, I say no more)
- The Essex Green: Everything Is Green (Neo-psykadelia anno 1965, or something like that)
- The Handsome Family: Singing Bones (country/probably the best country this year???)
- The Good Life: Album Of The Year
- Pete Yorn: Musicforthemorningafter
- Nina Nastasia: Dogs (I love this girl, and I say no more)
