HAWK,

If in Quoits a toss is made with an illegal stepping motion does it count? It does in bean bags, which is why I'm asking.

I've never played quoits, my question is this. why bother calling it an illegal pitch if it counts? if it were illegal you would be penalized.  ???

This is why you're a Quoits master and I'm not. I salute you.

My Signature is Mitch Hedberg right now.
I have Mitch All Together which is really funny.

Here are some video clips:

I think the 2 Conan performances are best.

long live mitch. i got to see him only a few months before he died. he was pretty messed up on stage, but it was still one of the funniest things i've ever seen.

My niece and I were talking about 4 or 5 years ago (she was 15 at the time) and she was telling me she was sad. She said that the only thing that would make her happy was thinking about Mitch Hedberg. I did not know she knew who Mitch was, so we shared our favorite Mitch lines. She said she could be in Algebra class, all bummed out and she'd think about something Mitch would say and she'd smile.

So,

since I'm the best uncle ever, I e-mailed Mitch and told him this story. I included my niece's home address and phone number, just in case he wanted to drop her a line.

then,

about 3 weeks later I got this crazed call from my niece, saying she appreciated me sending her the Mitch CD and faking his signature and all. I told her the story about me writing Mitch and that he must have mailed it to her b/c him and I were the only ones who knew about it and I did not mail it to her. He wrote her a note that said something like "try to be happy" or something. She was floored! As was I.

That summer, I took her to Boston and Maine (my old stomping grounds) and on the way back we saw Mitch at a comedy club in DC(they let her in, even though she was 16). She got her picture taken with Mitch after the show and he said he remembered sending her the CD b/c he did not send people free stuff.

Anyways, I could talk about Mitch for days. Wish he was around to explain why we're having all these hurricanes...

I did not know who he was until I looked him up with the links that were posted here - WTF!? How come????? That's the funniest shit I've seen in years! I gotta tell everyone I know about this!
I just hope he and my grandpa ends up in the same place - if they do I think I have to go kill myself 'cause that would be funny as hell!
Thanks for showing this for me - I will be living off of this in weeks man!

You better believe it! I'm supposed to be up in 2 and a half hours to drive my mum to work, but I gotta see all there is to this guy. I might even quit school and quit my friends. Nothing I could ever say again will be funny again after this.

"she'd think about something Mitch would say and she'd smile"

I know the feeling, but at work not in algebra. i hate algebra. doesn't surprise me at all that mitch did that. one of the better human beings in the world was taken way too soon.
