i'm a big jason lee fan so i like this show.  without him though i think it would get lost in the shuffle

Agreed.  Although really the only reason I even had it on was because it precedes The Office.

UK or US?
The original from the UK was such a classic but the clips I've seen from the US remake look very poor.
Why the need for the remake anyway?

Americans are unoriginal twits.  

Steve Carell (somebody correct me on that name please) is a genius.  If you've ever worked in an office in the US, and especially in small town USA, you'll get this show.  Otherwise you'll wonder what all the hub bub is about.

The Office is the funniest show on TV.  I have watched Earl and it is pretty good, but I really love the Office.  Dwight is the man!

The Office gets my vote.

Jay Lee is my boy, but his character doesnt work on My Name is Earl.  That's just not classic Jason Lee.  Go look up Mallrats and Chasing Amy.

The show does have it's moments, and what I really like about it is how they do flash backs to explain certain lines of the show ala The Family Guy.
