is anybody else seriously jazzed for this movie? fifty cent really got me back into rap and i think this movie will be a cool portrayal of his life and how he got to where he is now

I don't really like 50 Cent as a rapper and I certainly am not interested in his debut as an actor. I like how he uses his "Christian" name when he's acting, although it's a smart branding move... a lot of people fail to make the jump from music to acting and vice versa because they don't have stage names for one or the other and their brand won't carry across genres. That and they usually suck at whatever they didn't get famous for.
