The South is a comedy in itself and somehow King of the Hill isn't banking on that.

I feel sorry for people that like it so much that they use a King of the Hill avatar on message boards...I mean, get a clue, ya know?

I like King of the Hill. Many people do and we don't need your sympathy. I can't bear to think what kind of state I'd be in to need your sympathy.

yeah- Bill Cosby invented comedy right?  are you saying The Cosby's was actually FUNNY?  the best thing Bill Cosby ever did was die.

Is he dead? Really, I didn't know that. Did he used to be in a spy programme or something?

Favorite show of all-time, the only consistently funny animated show.

I agree.

KOTH does satire over straight comedy and thus does not appeal to everyone.

It's also a show that hasn't " jumped the shark ", unlike South Park and The Simpsons. Even the new Family Guy episodes aren't as funny as the old shows.

The Simpsons hasn't jumped the shark, au contraire....I dare you to name a show as consistently good for as long as the Simpsons.  You can't!  Gunsmoke?!  Battlestar Galactica??

i find it hard to believe you can find more than 1 or 2 episodes per season the past 4 or 5 years that are worth anything.  i love the simpsons, but it just doesnt have the spark anymore.

It proves the point that even really bad Simpsons is better than most television, IMHO....

i agree...i never watch the simpsons new episodes on sunday nights...but the ones I catch on the rerun station are still decent

what i've noticed is that overall the episodes are generally lacking..but there's still great one liners and satire that's better than most other tv

I can't see how south park has jumped the shark.  I think it gets better and better every season.

i agree

i heard that after the Simpsons end, they are going to make a Simpsons movie, that could be ugly.

and as far as new Family Guy episodes go, there are a few funny ones, but alot of them are too random and the flashbacks are too damn long. I really like American Dad though.
